OSCAR RETURNS TO THE SHORTFEST
We are delighted to announce that the 2007 Oscar-winning live-action short film will screen
at the ShortFest! We are doubly excited about sharing "West Bank Story" because director
Ari Sandel is a University of Arizona alumnus. The delightful "West Bank Story" will screen
out-of-competition. Don't miss your opportunity to see it!

$1,000 OF PRIZES ADDED FOR FILMGOERS:
Pro 8mm of Burbank has kindly donated $1,000 worth of film stock, processing and digital
transfer packages to be given away to ShortFest filmgoers. Come early for Pro 8mm owner
Phil Vigeant's 4PM seminar, where he'll give away a 16mm filmm package:
four rolls of 16mm film (100 foot daylight loads) processing, prep and clean and full scene to scene color corrected transfer to mini dv on the Y FRONT URSA DIAMOND Rank.

We'll also give away two separate pro neagtive Super-8 packages later in the night to filmgoers:

2007 JUDGES & STAFF:
Film judges for the 2007 ShortFest will include Star Trek producer Andre Bormanis, Hanson
Film Institute Director Vicky Westover, UA Media Arts Producer-in-Residence Patrick Roddy, ShortFest Director Timothy Gassen, and co-Director Mike Rom.

We're also proud to include Sheldon Smith, Jason Wagoner and James Williams as new ShortFest staff members.
